A few more participants at the party.....Just a nice day to hang out.
Finally a real smile on Emma. Could it possibly have anything to do with the cake?
What are these guys doing .....they are always together......YAWN.
Ahh.....Brudder and Tister.

Just another day at the Park

Happy Birthday Jillian! You are ONE and you don't even know it.
Daddy (Jeffrey) and Jillian are getting ready to host the big event.

MMmmmMmmm ice cream cake.....my favorite! (says Alisha)
We all came for Jillian's Brown Bag Birthday party and the weather was nice. We played on the playground equipment and threw the baseball and football, ate, opened presents and of course goggled at Jillian. What a blessing she has been in our lives. Thank you Jeff and Alisha for this time in our lives. Grandpa and Grandma feel so fortunate.

Caitlin is Engaged!

This is not....I repeat, NOT her engagement photo. I just need to get on the ball and get a picture of the sweet couple together. Sorry, Ben. However, for all of you who don't know yet....we have great news. Caitlin is engaged to Ben Miller and if you haven't met him yet there is still time. We will be updating the news of all the Wedding plans and you will see that Caitlin is just as happy in her pictures with Ben. Whew!

Why People live in Arizona

In the Summer I wonder how so many people could make their homes here in Arizona.
There are many answers ......but believe it or not they ususally say....The WEATHER!
Not every place can be like Southern California and not everyone can afford to live there.
But it is sky's like this and the way it feels now in October that remind me how much I really
do appreciate what Arizona has to offer. (My family is here too ....duh)
I guess everywhere you go there are challenges....but you can usually see the beauties that
our Creator has put before us to remind that this world is an awesome experience.

Animal Magnetism?

What is it about my sons and animals? They are magnets for non homogenus species . In other words .....they love animals and animals love them. However, Stanley is just reuniting with his H.S. alma mater's mascot. The Bobcat. But, it makes me think of all the fishing trips when he caught the only fish........All of our pets that favored him.....followed him around and slept with him etc. Animals just love him. Period.
Now, Ross' situation is similar......regarding animals......... however this bear never really met Ross. They are both just hanging out at the Monte L. Bean Museum in Provo, UT.

Just looking.....

I went looking for a picture of "Just Jeff and Alisha" for my mom and when I came to this picture I had to put it in the Blog. I love it. We were in Utah for a Family Reunion. Jills is nestling into her mom's face and it reminded me of how beautiful it was there.
Here are two sisters who adore each other. I didn't even know I had this picture until I lightened it up in Picassa. How cute is that?

Fossil Creek Fun!

Just recently, Stan took some friends to Fossil Creek, up by our Cabin in Strawberry. They were excited by the stories he told of the clear water and the water falls and the cliff jumping. I don't think they were disappointed. Stan had a great time showing them the place.

Here is stan proceding to jump. I am glad I wasn't there. It just would have been "way too much fun" for me to watch.

I am not sure what is going on here but the "thumbs up" must mean that he is having fun and that there is nothing to worry about.

Good job Stan!

A Year Better

We all celebrated Alisha's and Sarah's birthdays together.....they didn't seem to mind since they both got to choose a favorite cake.
Sarah's girls are enjoying it as much as if it were their own birthdays.
So, in August of 2007 .....this is the face of Jillian, showing off her new teeth......and this is the face of Chloe, with her shy smile. Our two babies before they were walking and talking.

If Jill's nose looks a little orange .....it is because she has started eating squash and loves it! Some of the color is coming through her skin.
If Chloe's face looks a little drooly ....it is because she is teething.......and she will not apologize for it. She wants to be just like Jill when she grows up!

Who says you can't go back?

"Knock, knock." "Who's there?" "A big boy that remembers when he was a little boy and this was his home." One thing is for sure.....Stanley never could reach that part of the door when we lived there.
Here is Stan pointing to the window that supplied his bedroom with light. He also broke in to that window several times. And it had to be replaced at least once. (Basketball fun)
2713 Tanglewood was home for us in Texas for about fifteen years. I think we can all conjur up some fond memories. When we first arrived, every mosquito in Texas was made aware that new blood was available and we had never had so many bites in our lives. July 4th we watched fireworks from afar and got eaten alive! They never really bothered us after that. I guess they just thought "been there, done that!"

I remember trying to get grass to grow in that yard. It was a monumental task.
It sure is nice to see it green under those trees.
